I look out my backdoor during the winter and this is what I see:

Man I cannot wait until spring gets here.

Just when I thought my anger over how people in this country reacted over Adam Lambert’s sexually charged perfomance had faded, the complaint forms sent to the FCC surfaced on the Smoking Gun. A warning before reading them: they are very derogatory, scary and bigoted!! Read the rest of this entry »

As promised, I am reviewing Lady Gaga’s new EP, “The Fame Monster”. After her stunning debut album, “The Fame”, Lady Gaga set the bar high for this release, and I can now say that the bar even higher with ” The Fame Monster”. Read the rest of this entry »

Lady Gaga’s performance on the American Music Awards last night was amazing. She performed her hit, “Bad Romance” and “Speechless”. It was a shame that she didn’t win any awards because she deserves an award after that spectactular act. Coming up in my next blog entry, my review on Lady Gaga’s new EP “The Fame Monster”.
This video is art! Even though the video is bizzare, there is a very artistic flair to it. What is your opinion? I honestly think this is Lady Gaga’s best song and video yet!!
Ok, normally I would not post about politics or political issues on this blog, but I feel very strongly on this issue and need to get some stuff off my chest. As most of you may know, yesterday in Maine, voters were asked to cast their vote for or against same-sex marriage. Sadly, the slight majority voted against same-sex marriage making the total number of states to ban same-sex marriage by “popular” vote at 31. Knowing this number angers me to the core. In my opinion, rights of a minority group should not be decided by the majority. This has proven through the Emancipation Proclamation, the women’s voting rights movement, the civil rights of 1968, Loving v. Virginia, and Roe v. Wade. All of these were decided by the President, Congress, or the Supreme Court. This is how gay rights issues should be handled, and not by popular vote.
Now that I have expressed my anger opinion over the issue of same-sex marriage, I will step off my soapbox, and get back to talking about pop culture.
Ladies and gentlemen, the bitch is back!! After much waiting and anticipating, Heather Locklear returns to the role of Amanda Woodward on the new Melrose Place. Amanda will become Ella’s boss at WPK. Heather’s first episode is November 17.
This song has to be my new favorite song. The whole feel behind this song is ethereal. The video is amazing!! Owl City is a music project that has only one member, Adam Young. With every show sold out in the U.S. tour, it is apparent to see that Owl City has come into its own.
